PS4's September line up

The Summer is coming to it's end which means that you have to be prepared for the numerous games that are coming in the next three months. September is full of great games for the PS4 with new IP's like Destiny, the annual sport games like Fifa 15 and NHL 15 by EA Sports,high profile titles like Shadow Warrior, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, Disney Infinity 2.0 and smaller PSN titles like Velocity 2X and Defence Grid 2. Minecraft PS4 might also be released this monh after the delays. Take a look at all the confirmed PS4 releases for the month of September
VELOCITY 2X - September 2 NA, September 3 EU (PSN only,cross buy PSVita)
Velocity Ultra is one of the best vita games and the sequel is going to be even better. The highly addictive shooting levels are back with boss fights this time and the new addition are the puzzle platforming levels. Sci-fi platformer and shoot ‘em-up in one adventure, cross-save AND cross-buy between PS4 and PS Vita, great soundtrack and improved visuals you simply can't miss it!



WARRIORS OROCHI 3 ULTIMATE - September 2 NA, September 5 EU (retail,PSN)
Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is an enhanced version of the 2012's hack and slash action game Warriors Orochi 3, combining heroes of the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series.Featuring new modes including One Warrior Against a Thousand Battles, which sends up to 100 AI against the player, online and offline competition modes, and Dual Mode, which is a blend of team battles and card battles. Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate now also features cross-play and cross-save support (no cross buy unfortunately)



DESTINY - September 9 NA, EU (Retail, PSN)
Finally the wait is coming to an end... Destiny the online multiplayer first-person shooter in a "mythic science fiction" open world setting developed by Bungie (the creators of Halo) will have the best version running on the PlayStation 4. The expectations are very high after the Beta version, so prepare for the next multimillion blockbuster franchise debut.


 


NHL 15 - September 9th NA, September 12th EU (Retail, PSN)
NHL 15 is the first ice hockey game for the PlayStation 4 developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports. New features, great visuals using the ignite engine and improved gameplay is something that hockey fans should expect from the next gen title debut. PS Vita owners this is your change to play a hockey game on your handheld via remote play






DISNEY INFINITY 2.0: MARVEL SUPER HEROES - September 23 NA, September 19 EU (Retail, PSN)
Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes the upcoming action-adventure sandbox game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Disney Interactive Studios. It is the sequel and successor of the 2013 game Disney Infinity and it is the series debut on the PlayStation 4.Marvel Super Heroes includes multiple plots and includes characters from both Marvel and Disney properties. The main campaign will be divided up into three stories. One follows the Avengers as they must defeat the Norse God Loki from rebuilding the Casket of Ancient Winters. A second centers around Spider-Man and features him and his team tasked with the objective to stop Green Goblin's symbiote invasion. The third and final storyline concentrates around the Guardians of the Galaxy, in a plot heavily inspired by the Guardians of the Galaxy film, where the Guardians must protect Knowhere from Ronan the Accuser. Expect similar gameplay to the first game




FIFA 15 - September 23 NA, September 25 EU (Retail, PSN)
The best soccer game is coming back to the PlayStation after last year's launch title. EA Sports is promising various gameplay improvements like goalkeepers AI, more ways to score, the return of the tournament mode and improved visuals using the ignite engine.



NATURAL DOCTRINE – September 23 NA, September 26 EU (retail, PSN)

Natural Doctrine is the first role playing game developed by Kadokawa Games and will be localized thanks to Nis America (as usual). The game has been released in Japan a few months ago and gained the reputation of being a really hardcore game, due to the high difficulty level, maybe too high for most gamers. Thankfully things will be quite different for the Western release, since Kadokawa has patched the game some time after release, lowering the difficulty level.


SHADOW WARRIOR - September 23 NA, September 26 EU (Retail, PSN)

Last year's Steam's release Shadow Warrior is coming to the PS4. A single-player first-person shooter developed by Flying Wild Hog and published by Devolver Digital is a reboot of the 1997 game of the same name developed by 3D Realms. take control of the modern ninja mercenary Lo Wang from a first-person perspective as he fights through levels of demonic hordes. Levels themselves are divided into chapters, each with Wang progressing through smaller stages to large open battle arenas that have side and hidden areas, occasionally allowing another route





DEFENCE GRID 2– September 23 NA, September 24 EU (PSN only)
Tower defense games can be some of the most addictive gaming experiences ever. PlayStation 4 players will be able to get their defense tactics tested with the upcoming Defense Grid 2. Players have to defend an array of military bases and other territories from waves of attacking aliens. Hidden Path Entertainment is the developer






MIDDLE EARTH: SHADOW OF MORDOR – September 30 NA (Retail, PSN)

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor the upcoming action role-playing game set in The Lord of the Rings universe, being developed by Monolith Productions and due to be released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game will bridge the gap between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings saga. You are Talion, a Ranger of the Black Gate, keeping watch over Mordor which has remained undisturbed for ages. In the blink of an eye, everything is taken from you – your friends, your family, and even your own life. Resurrected by a mysterious vengeful spirit, you must now embark on a relentless vendetta against those who have wronged you.






SHERLOCK HOLMES: CRIMES & PUNISHMENTS – September 30 NA & EU (Retail, PSN)
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments is an upcoming investigation game in the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes series developed by Frogwares and published by Focus Home Interactive. The game takes place in London and its suburbs in the 19th century; it resonates with the Russian novel Crime and Punishment by author Fyodor Dostoyevsky focusing onto finding the right culprit and making the moral choice of absolving or condemning him. The game is the first in the series to use the Unreal Engine 3, and was inspired by both Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original stories and the BBC's Sherlock television series. The game is split into seven cases such as murders, disappearances, thefts, etc. written in the tradition of Arthur Conan Doyle’s novels
