Hellraid developer Techland has re-announced its fantasy dungeon crawler for PS4(PS3 version cancelled),along with a new gallery of screens and a new trailer.The game is a mix of melee, magic and ranged combat that can be played both in single-player and 2-4 player co-op
In a press release,Techland confirmed that Hellraid development has moved from Dead Island’s Chrome Engine 5, to Chrome Engine 6, which is currently powering the studio’s new zombie sandbox title Dying Light.
Hellraid will benefit from a new physics-based lighting system, more detailed locations and character models, complex animations, advanced particle effects, and state-of-the-art AI systems.
The release delay also means the game will offer more content across three game modes:
Story Mode: Players will explore the world and try to repel forces of Hell.
Mission Mode: Will put more focus on arcade-style fun of climbing up leaderboards, creating the longest combos and beating high scores.
Arena Mode: Survival gameplay with waves of deadly demonic hordes to fend off.
