Sony Computer Entertainment UK released a new video explaining the newly announced game streaming service PlayStation Now with a list of ten things that you need to know.
- PlayStation Now is a sreaming service that will focus on delivering PS3 games to a range of Sony and PlayStation devices
- PlayStation Now works by utilising cloud service to play the game remotely and sending you a stream of the gameplay which you control on the device you are using
- Will be available on PS3 and PS4 first,with PS Vita and Sony Bravia TV's following after
- The aim is to have PlayStation Now running on tablets and phones not just PlayStation and Sony devices
- Payment plans will include the options of rent specific titles as well as netflix like subscription models covering multiple games
- The service will stream a vast number of first and third party games
- Will focus on PS3 games but PS1 and PS2 games will be offered too
- Every device that uses PlayStation Now will need to be paired with a dualshock 3(except PS Vita and PS4)
- The games will be fully featured so you can save,earn trophies and play online multiplayer as normal
- PlayStation Now will launch in the USA this summer with news about other countries to follow
